NVKL eerde haar met een bronzen olifant, omdat zij zich in haar functie als directeur van de OTIB altijd sterk heeft gemaakt voor de koeltechnische sector. Voor 2005 beschikte de klimaat- en koudetechniek over een eigen opleidings- en ontwikkelingsfonds, SKO. Verburg was daarvan directeur. Doordat de sector relatief klein is waren de mogelijkheden van dit fonds navenant klein. Mede door de inzet en daadkracht van Verburg is het in 2005 uiteindelijk gekomen tot \u00e9\u00e9n O&amp;O fonds voor de hele installatiesector.<\/p>\n<p>Voor de koeltechniek betekende dit meer mogelijkheden op het gebied van ontwikkeling van lesmateriaal maar ook een aanzet tot meer samenwerking tussen NVKL (als vertegenwoordiger van het koeltechnische deel van de installatiesector) en Uneto-VNI als vertegenwoordiger van de overige onderdelen van installatiesector.<\/p>\n<p>De samenwerking tussen NVKL en OTIB geeft een mooi resultaat voor de benutting van collectief bijeengebrachte middelen.
