Team Unica heeft Techathon \u201926 op haar naam geschreven. Het multidisciplinaire team, bestaande uit vertegenwoordigers van Unica, Hogeschool Rotterdam, ROC Midden Nederland en het Minkema College, overtuigde de jury met 'FreshLoop': een duurzaam en slim concept voor een nieuw Verslogistiek Centrum op Dutch Fresh Port.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tijdens de strijd bij Van Gelder groente & fruit in Ridderkerk werkten acht teams \u2013 bestaande uit mbo'ers, hbo'ers, Technasiumscholieren en young professionals van onder meer Croonwolter&dros, Equans, Heijmans, Kropman, Kuijpers, Movares, SPIE en Unica \u2013 aan een oplossing voor de logistieke en energetische uitdagingen van de toekomst. Opdrachten omvatten het aanpakken van netcongestie, effici\u00ebntere goederenstromen, slim ruimtegebruik en de weerbaarheid van vitale infrastructuur.<\/p>\n

Slimme energiesturing en reststromen
\n<\/strong>Het winnende concept FreshLoop<\/em> bundelt logistiek, energie en reststromen. Door koelcontainers via de binnenvaart aan te voeren en pas op afroep naar het terrein te halen, wordt de druk op het wegennet drastisch verlaagd. Daarnaast wekt het centrum zelf energie op uit groente- en fruitresten, gecombineerd met slimme energiesturing, batterij-opslag en bidirectioneel laden om netcongestie te voorkomen. Ook restwarmtebenutting en vertical farming maken deel uit van het plan.<\/p>\n

Continu\u00efteit en de flexibele containeroverslag
\n<\/strong>Juryvoorzitter Corno Christianen prees de continu\u00efteit en de flexibele containeroverslag in het winnende plan. Teamcaptain David Siljee nam de winnaarsbeker en een cheque van \u20ac 6.500,- in ontvangst uit handen van Erik van Engelen (algemeen directeur Techniek Nederland). Het team van Equans pakte de tweede plaats (\u20ac 2.000,-).
\nTechathon \u201926 werd georganiseerd door Techniek Nederland en Wij Techniek. Het winnende team gaat binnenkort met opdrachtgever Dutch Fresh Port om tafel tijdens een terugkomsessie om het concept FreshLoop verder uit te diepen.<\/p>\n
