De overname bouwt voort op een samenwerking die in 2023 begon, toen BDR Thermea een minderheidsbelang van 25% in G.I. Holding verwierf. Alberto Favero is benoemd tot algemeen directeur van G.I. Holding.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Tjarko Bouman, CEO van BDR Thermea, over de overname: \u201cDit is een beslissend moment voor BDR Thermea. G.I. Holding brengt het productportfolio voor grote capaciteiten, de technische expertise en de commerci\u00eble competenties mee die we nodig hebben om volledig ge\u00efntegreerde oplossingen voor decarbonisatie te leveren. Met deze stap breiden we ons vermogen aanzienlijk uit om het volledige spectrum van commerci\u00eble HVAC-behoeften te bedienen \u2013 van wooncomplexen en hotels tot datacenters, onderwijsinstellingen en winkelomgevingen.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Verder groeien<br \/>\n<\/strong>Paolo Baldissin, voormalig CEO van G.I. Holding, vervolgt: \u201cOnze samenwerking begon meer dan vijf jaar geleden met het oog op het ondersteunen van de bedrijfsontwikkeling van BDR Thermea in de richting van gecentraliseerde airconditioningsystemen voor commerci\u00eble en industri\u00eble gebouwen. Deze stap opent nu nieuwe kansen voor G.I. Holding en haar klanten in een steeds competitiever wordende markt die wordt gedomineerd door grote industri\u00eble concerns. Holding-groep in staat stellen om verder te groeien.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Strategische versneller<br \/>\n<\/strong>De overname is een stap in de uitvoering van BDR Thermea\u2019s Strategie 2030: Focus. Transform. Perform., die de koers uitzet voor de langetermijntransformatie van het bedrijf. De strategie richt zich op het versterken van de positie in de residenti\u00eble en commerci\u00eble markten, het uitbreiden van slimme verwarmings- en koelingsoplossingen en het uitbouwen van aftersales-diensten. Een belangrijk onderdeel hiervan is de verschuiving van een productgerichte naar een oplossingsgerichte aanpak, waarbij ge\u00efntegreerde HVAC-systemen worden geleverd die zijn afgestemd op de behoeften van de klant.<br \/>\nG.I. Holding versterkt deze capaciteiten door een commerci\u00eble portefeuille en expertise op het gebied van engineering, systeemintegratie en service toe te voegen. De merken van G.I. Holding \u2013 Clint (warmtepompen en koelmachines), KTK Klimatechnik (proceskoeling), Novair (oplossingen voor luchtkwaliteit) en Montair (koeling van datacenters) \u2013 breiden het commerci\u00eble aanbod van BDR Thermea uit.
