Het accent verschuift van kennisontwikkeling en netwerkvorming naar implementatie, ketensamenwerking en de ontwikkeling van nieuwe circulaire businessmodellen. Het brancheplan startte in maart 2022 als initiatief van Techniek Nederland. Op 27 mei a.s. wordt de voortgang van het Brancheplan Verpakkingen Installatiebranche overgedragen aan de Circular Plastics Alliance (CPA).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Laurens de Vrijer, hoofd Werkgever- en Ondernemerschap bij Techniek Nederland en mede-initiatiefnemer van het Brancheplan Verpakkingen, noemt de overdracht een logische volgende stap. \u201cHet verminderen van verpakkingen wordt steeds urgenter door nieuwe Europese regelgeving. Daarnaast moeten grote bedrijven een duurzaamheidsverslag opstellen. Daardoor wordt het behalen van concrete resultaten steeds belangrijker. Met CPA gaan we een nieuwe fase in. Ik hoop dat zoveel mogelijk van de huidige deelnemers doorgaan in deze nieuwe fase!\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nieuwe ketenprojecten en concrete doelen<br \/>\n<\/strong>CPA wil in 2026 al concrete stappen zetten met de deelnemers. Voor het einde van dit jaar moeten drie tot vijf ketenprojecten van start gaan. Daarnaast wil de organisatie concrete resultaten boeken op het gebied van CO2-reductie, afvalreductie, hergebruik en recycling. Directeur Henk Kras jr. van CPA: \u201cUitgangspunt van alle activiteiten is een intake met de deelnemers. Op basis daarvan bouwen we het programma verder uit. Het programma ontstaat dus echt bottom-up.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nieuwe opzet met meer commitment<br \/>\n<\/strong>De overgang naar CPA markeert een doorstart van het programma. Er komen nieuwe doelstellingen en werkgroepen, een kick-off webinar \u2018Van regelgeving naar actie\u2019 en een rondetafel met groothandel en leveranciers. Ook staan pilots en netwerkbijeenkomsten op de agenda. In de nieuwe opzet betalen de deelnemende bedrijven een jaarlijkse bijdrage.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Minder vrijblijvend<br \/>\n<\/strong>Projectmanager Paul Borghouts van mede-initiatiefnemer FEDET verwacht dat deze aanpak het programma verder zal versterken. \u201cHet wordt minder vrijblijvend: we vragen commitment van de deelnemers. Tegelijk staat de ketenaanpak centraal. Door nauwe samenwerking tussen installateurs, groothandel en fabrikanten kunnen we samen concrete resultaten bereiken.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Eerste resultaten<br \/>\n<\/strong>Het doel was om in 2025 in de installatiebranche 20 procent minder plastic en kartonnen verpakkingen te gebruiken en verpakkingen volledig recyclebaar te maken. Die doelstellingen zijn voor een belangrijk deel gehaald. Het gebruik van karton was in 2024 al met 18 procent gedaald. Daarnaast wordt 98 procent van het gebruikte karton gerecycled en heeft 81 procent van het nieuw gebruikte karton een FSC- of PEFC-keurmerk.<br \/>\nDeze resultaten vormen de basis voor de volgende fase, waarin de focus ligt op verdere reductie, hergebruik en het ontwikkelen van circulaire ketenoplossingen.
