Om deze nieuwe energie-economie te laten slagen is de beschikbaarheid van voldoende geschoolde mensen in de regio van levensbelang.<br \/>\nHet begint met samenwerken. Met de coalitie Waterstof Werkt! -met zo\u2019n 150 partners- komen kennis, ervaring, innovatie- en wilskracht van bedrijven, overheden, maatschappelijke organisaties en kennisinstellingen in het noorden bij elkaar.<br \/>\nEn het begint met opleiden: E\u00e9n van de doelstellingen is het opleiden van jongeren en energieprofessionals. Want zonder de juiste mensen kunnen we verduurzaming met waterstof niet realiseren. Er is ingezet op een forse impuls voor het regionale onderwijs om te kunnen voldoen aan het stijgend aantal banen in de duurzame energiesector en de waterstofeconomie in het bijzonder. Ruim 1.000\u202fdeskundigen\u202fworden opgeleid, om de ontwikkeling\u202fvan de waterstofeconomie\u202fte realiseren, waarvan circa\u202feen-derde via bijscholing. En er worden 100\u202fwaterstof\u202fgerelateerde stageplekken voor mbo-studenten,\u202f50\u202ftraineeplekken\u202fvoor hbo-studenten\u202fbij de deelnemende bedrijven en organisaties gerealiseerd.<br \/>\nGroningen loopt voorop. Zo komt in Groningen (en ook Drenthe) elektriciteit van windturbines aan land, zijn er elektrolysers om de elektriciteit om te zetten naar waterstof, wordt de waterstof opgeslagen in zoutgrotten diep onder Veendam en is er een pijplijnnetwerk voor distributie Het is dus ook geen verrassing dat het Huis van Sarah op 5 en 6 april juist in Groningen staat. In deze multimediale productie voor de vakmensen in de techniek staat vakmanschap en vaktrots centraal. Wie wil jij zijn, nu en in de toekomst? Dat is de vraag die we stellen.
