Niet dat de \u2018oude\u2019 NTR 3216 geen duidelijkheid verschafte, maar hij maakte te weinig duidelijk wat er fout kon gaan als je ontwerpregels niet naleefde, vertelt Nick Post, specialist sanitaire technieken bij ISSO.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>De publicatie, die sinds deze maand beschikbaar is via isso.nl, geeft richtlijnen voor het ontwerpen, realiseren en beheren van afvoersystemen voor hemelwater en huishoudelijk afvalwater (of vergelijkbaar) van bouwwerken. Dat betekent dat een breed scala aan onderwerpen en systemen wordt behandeld waarmee vrijwel elke sanitair installateur dagelijks te maken heeft. Dit varieert van lozingsvoorschriften voor vuilwater- en hemelwaterafvoersystemen, ontwerpregels voor vuilwater en rioleringsinstallaties binnen de perceelgrens tot alles over hemelwaterafvoersystemen vanaf het dak, de goot, enzovoorts.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Innovatieve technieken<br \/>\n<\/strong>\u201cEr zijn genoeg onderwerpen waarvoor niet zo heel veel is veranderd. Tegelijk zien we ook dat er innovaties en nieuwe technieken bijkomen waarvoor het zinvol is om ontwerprichtlijnen op een rij te zetten. Denk aan de groeiende populariteit van bijvoorbeeld systemen voor gebruik en infiltratie van hemelwater binnen de perceelgrens of systemen voor gescheiden sanitatie; gescheiden urine-afvoer en -opvang\u201d, zegt Post.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Extra duidelijkheid<br \/>\n<\/strong>Maar misschien nog belangrijker dan kennis van nieuwe technieken was de noodzaak om in de nieuwe publicatie extra duidelijkheid te verschaffen over hemelwaterafvoersystemen volgens het UV- en overlaatstromingsprincipe. Post: \u201cIn veel projecten met omvangrijke daken zorgen deze HWA-systemen voor de afvoer van regenwater vanaf het dak of de goot tot aan de gebouwaansluiting. In principe gaf de NTR 3216 al de juiste informatie en ontwerprichtlijnen hoe je dit systeem moet uitvoeren, maar in de praktijk zagen we dat er ruis ontstond. Dit kwam omdat er vanuit een of meerdere leveranciers aanwijzingen of adviezen kwamen die niet overeenkomstig de NTR 3216 waren. Wij schrijven nu heel duidelijk wat er fout gaat als je een UV-systeem niet uitvoert zoals de NTR 3216 voorschrijft. Het kan bijvoorbeeld erg fout gaan als je besluit om meerdere trechters van een noodoverloopsysteem met elkaar te koppelen. Wij roepen de installatiemarkt dan ook op om altijd maar \u00e9\u00e9n trechter per afvoerpunt te gebruiken.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>Meer lezen over dit onderwerp?
