Bijna dertig procent van de drinkwatermonsters bleek in 2020 legionellabacteri\u00ebn te bevatten. Dat is een stijging van 11 procent ten opzichte van 2019. Dit blijkt uit onderzoek van ENVAQUA Expertgroep Legionella. Dit leidt jaarlijks tot zo\u2019n 400 gevallen van de veteranenziekte. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Installatie Vakbeurs besteedt dit jaar uitgebreid aandacht aan legionellabestrijding. Logisch, volgens Eline Kuijsters van de beurs, \u201cDe installateur speelt een belangrijke rol in het voorkomen van dit soort gevaarlijke situaties bij drinkwaterinstallaties in bijvoorbeeld kantoren, scholen en overheidsgebouwen. We werken samen met leden van ENVAQUA, de branchevereniging van ambitieuze water- en milieutechnologiebedrijven, om een stuk bewustwording en tips & tricks mee te geven.\u201d<\/p>\n

Installatie Vakbeurs wordt op 14, 15 en 16 september gehouden in Evenementenhal Hardenberg, met dus speciale aandacht voor Legionellabestrijding. Op het Legionellaplein worden dagelijks kennissessies en demonstraties gehouden. Zo zal Rogier Sterk ingaan op\u00a0 de miscommunicatie tussen legionella adviseur en installateur. Voorzitter Esther Huygen van stichting Veteranenziekte kaart op haar beurt de risico\u2019s van een legionellabesmetting aan en onderstreept de noodzaak van preventie.<\/p>\n

Andere onderwerpen die worden besproken zijn: Het gebruik van Hennep in drinkwaterinstallaties, 5 grootste problemen in vastgoed, effici\u00ebnt en veilig drinkwaterbeheer, herziening van de BRL14010-1 en nieuwe mogelijkheden voor UV-C techniek en ultrafiltratie in drinkwaterinstallaties.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
