Hierbij zijn vaak veel partijen betrokken, zoals eindgebruikers, architecten, aannemers, installateurs, adviseurs en overheidsinstanties. USP Marketing Consultancy onderzocht in welke landen installateurs de meeste beslissingsbevoegdheid hebben. Belgi\u00eb blijkt koploper, terwijl Duitse installateurs de minste bevoegdheid hebben. In het algemeen zullen installateurs hun invloed enigszins verliezen aan andere betrokken partijen in het bouwproces.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Het onderzoeksbureau heeft gekeken naar twee parameters om tot een rangschikking te komen. Allereerst naar de mate waarin installateurs invloed hebben op de merkkeuze van installatieproducten voor alle soorten projecten samen. Ten tweede naar de mate waarin ze een door een andere partij gespecificeerd merk nog kunnen wijzigen.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Meeste beslissingsbevoegdheid<br \/>\n<\/strong>In Belgi\u00eb hebben installateurs de meeste invloed op de merkkeuze. Niet alleen hebben ze in veel gevallen grote invloed op de aanvankelijke merkkeuze of maken ze die keuze zelf, ze kunnen in veel gevallen ook een merk dat al bepaald is veranderen als ze daar reden voor zien. Verassend genoeg hebben Belgische installateurs grote invloed op merkkeuze in niet-residenti\u00eble projecten, ongeacht of het om nieuwbouw of renovatie gaat. Dat is typisch een segment waarin installateurs in andere landen weinig beslissingsbevoegdheid hebben, maar in Belgi\u00eb is het een van de segmenten waarin de invloed van installateurs op merkkeuze juist erg sterk is. Daarnaast hebben Belgische installateurs veel invloed in grote residenti\u00eble projecten, maar is hun invloed op merkkeuze in kleine residenti\u00eble projecten middelmatig.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Minste beslissingsbevoegdheid<br \/>\n<\/strong>Duitse installateurs hebben de minste beslissingsbevoegdheid. Feit is dat hun invloed op de merkkeuze van installatieproducten helemaal niet zo laag is, maar hun beslissingsbevoegdheid juist wel minder is in niet-residenti\u00eble projecten, vooral vergeleken met Belgi\u00eb. Duitse installateurs spelen in het proces meer een adviserende dan een besluitvormende rol. Bovendien is hun vrijheid om een merk dat al bepaald is door een andere partij te veranderen relatief klein, vooral in de niet-residenti\u00eble sector. Alleen installateurs uit het Verenigd Koninkrijk hebben minder vrijheid om een gespecificeerd merk te wijzigen. Samen met hun lage invloed op de aanvankelijke merkkeuze leidt dit ertoe dat Duitse installateurs de laagste beslissingsbevoegdheid hebben.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Invloed eindgebruikers<br \/>\n<\/strong>Het onderzoeksbureau heeft zich ook de vraag gesteld hoe beslissingsbevoegdheid zich in de installatiemarkt zal ontwikkelen. Allereerst wordt er geconstateerd dat productprijzen makkelijk online te vinden zijn, wat de prijstransparantie verhoogt en ertoe leidt dat eindgebruikers steeds meer invloed krijgen op de merkkeuze. Installateurs zullen steeds vaker worden geconfronteerd met eindgebruikers die productprijzen vinden die lager zijn dan de die installateurs in hun offertes vermelden. Dit zal tot meer prijsonderhandeling leiden en een toenemende invloed van eindgebruikers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Toenemend gebruik van BIM<br \/>\n<\/strong>Een tweede trend is het toenemend gebruik van BIM. Hierdoor zijn installateurs eerder betrokken in het bouwproces, waardoor ze dus ook eerder invloed kunnen uitoefenen op beslissingen. Aan de andere kant kan de steeds grotere complexiteit van installaties er toe leiden dat steeds meer consultants en bouwkundige bedrijven betrokken zijn bij het beslissingsproces, waardoor de invloed van installateurs \u2013 met uitzondering van de grotere installatiebedrijven \u2013 juist weer wat kan gaan slinken.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Afname invloed W-installateur<br \/>\n<\/strong>Ten slotte is er de toename van elektrische onderdelen in mechanische installaties en de toenemende vraag naar \u2018smart systems\u2019. Dit kan ertoe leiden dat elektrotechnische installateurs en smart home specialisten steeds meer invloed krijgen. Bovendien stijgt de invloed van ontwikkelaars en hoofdaannemers ook, vooral in de niet-residenti\u00eble sector en grootschalige residenti\u00eble projecten.
