Tijdens de afwas thuis zwaargewond raken. Het overkwam een nu 25-jarige vrouw uit Amsterdam, toen plotseling de boiler losraakte en op haar viel. Woningcorporatie Ymere betaalde ruim 11.000 euro uit aan het slachtoffer. <\/strong><\/p>\n

De grote, zware boiler, goed voor 80 liter warm water, kwam tijdens de afwas zonder enige waarschuwing los van de muur boven de gootsteen en stortte op het hoofd, een schouder en het bovenlichaam van de vrouw. Zij verloor het bewustzijn en liep onder meer een hersenschudding, gekneusde ribben en een gekneusde schouder op.<\/p>\n

Succesvolle claim
\n<\/strong>Samen met letselschadebureau JBL&G uit Amsterdam stelde ze verhuurder Ymere aansprakelijk voor het ongeluk in haar huurwoning in Osdorp. En met succes. Ymeres verzekeraar Liberty Specialty Markets keerde onlangs een bedrag van 11.300 euro uit aan schadevergoeding en smartengeld. Of de corporatie na het ongeluk in 2018 alle soortgelijke boilers in haar sociale huurwoningen extra is gaan controleren, is onduidelijk. Er hebben zich nog geen andere boiler-slachtoffers gemeld.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
