Met de invoering had de Tweede Kamer al ingestemd maar minister Knops van Binnenlandse Zaken laat nu weten dat een besluit over de wet pas na het kerstreces zal worden behandeld in de Eerste Kamer. De wettelijke regeling houdt in dat alleen gecertificeerde bedrijven met vakbekwame monteurs nog werkzaamheden mogen verrichten aan cv-ketels, geisers en gashaarden. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>De wetswijziging zou oorspronkelijk januari 2020 ingaan, waarna een overgangstermijn van een jaar zou gelden. De bedoeling is vervolgens dat de overheid na drie jaar evalueert wat het effect van de wet is op de veiligheid van cv-ketels, de regeldruk en kosten voor bedrijven en consumenten.<\/p>\n<p>Techniek Nederland heeft eerder dit jaar al aangekondigd monteurs te helpen om te voldoen aan de nieuwe vakbekwaamheidseisen.
