De BRL 6010 verschaft de benodigde informatie voor het maken van een risicoanalyse en het opstellen van een beheersplan bij prioritaire installaties. Deze belangrijke richtlijn is recentelijk herzien, vertelt Eric van der Blom die werkzaam is als expert Sanitaire Technieken bij Techniek Nederland. \u201cMet de herziening willen we twee belangrijke doelen bereiken: enerzijds waarborgen dat de betrokken adviseurs en installateurs hetzelfde, hoge kennisniveau hebben en anderzijds dat ze dit kennisniveau gebruiken bij de risicoanalyse en beheersplan en daarbij tot een uniforme rapportagevorm komen.\u201d<\/p>\n

Examen
\n<\/strong>Met de herziening wordt gelijk het kaf van het koren gescheiden. Installateurs en adviseurs die met de BRL 6010 werken, moeten nu een theorie- en praktijkexamen afleggen om hun kunde en kennisniveau te toetsen. Dat kan een aantal keer per jaar. In mei was de eerste lichting aan de beurt; het merendeel van de kandidaten slaagde niet voor de toets. \u201cDat had vooral te maken met hun parate kennis. Je moet niet onvoorbereid naar het examen gaan. En tevens houdt niet iedereen alle ontwikkelingen even nauwgezet bij.\u201d<\/p>\n

Zorgen
\n<\/strong>De teleurstellende resultaten baren Van der Blom zorgen. \u201cHet algemene kennisniveau moet echt omhoog.\u201d Menig lezer zal wel zuchten bij het lezen van deze regels en denken: \u2018nog een examen erbij, nog meer kosten\u2019. Van der Blom: \u201cJa, je bent een paar honderd euro kwijt en tijd om te studeren en je voor te bereiden op het examen, maar daar staat wel wat tegenover. Je kan je klant een kwalitatief veel beter van dienst zijn. En deze nieuwe werkwijze gaat onherroepelijk leiden tot afvallers, dus minder concurrentie. Als je slaagt, heb je een Unique Selling Point in handen waarmee je jezelf sterker positioneert in de markt als expert op het gebied van legionellapreventie.\u201d<\/p>\n
