Dit gebeurde op de British School in The Netherlands in Leidschenveen. Het betreft de bitumen dakbaan Citumen, dat eerder wel al bij renovaties werd toegepast. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>De circulaire dakbedekking past in plaatje van architect Kraaijvanger om een 100% circulaire ontwerp te realiseren. In het project zijn meerdere gecertificeerde C2C-producten toegepast. Voor de productie van dit dakbedekkingsmateriaal wordt 50% van bitumen afkomstig uit sloop en renovatie, gered van de vuilverbranding en hergebruikt.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Innovatie en certificering<br \/>\n<\/strong>Met de realisatie van Stadskantoor Venlo zette Kraaijvanger eerder al de toon voor het toepassen van de C2C. Voor veel producten bestonden destijds nog geen goede C2C oplossingen. Laat staan gecertificeerde oplossingen. Het voorschrijven van circulair materiaalgebruik zet producenten en leveranciers aan tot innovatie en certificering, aldus de architect.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Concurrerend<br \/>\n<\/strong>\u201cCirculaire ambities hoeven niet duurder te zijn\u201d, vertelt Caspar Ulijn, directeur van ZND Nedicom, \u00e9\u00e9n van de partijn die Citumen ontwikkelde. De prijs van deze circulaire dakbedekking kan prima concurreren met standaard daksystemen, los van de milieuwinst die je behaalt.\u201d ZND behoort samen met New Horizon Material Balance en Icopal tot een collectief dat hergebruik nastreeft.
