Ook ergeren ze zich aan het imago dat de technische sector heeft en de onderlinge concurrentie bij het werven van personeel.<\/strong> <strong>Aan het imago dat de technische sector heeft moet gewerkt worden, vindt een groot deel van de respondenten. Als dat meer in de smaak valt bij jongeren kan dit een oplossing zijn voor het personeelstekort<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dit alles blijkt uit de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rovc.nl\/meer\/Brochures-Downloads-Aanvragen.aspx?SOORT=D&amp;BROID=193\">ROVC TechBarometer<\/a>, een onderzoek uitgevoerd door <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rovc.nl\">ROVC<\/a>, partner in trainingen en opleidingen voor technisch Nederland. Ruim 1200 respondenten uit de technische branche geven in het rapport antwoord op vragen over markt-, HR- en opleidingstrends binnen de techniek.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Grootste kennistekort<br \/>\n<\/strong>De onbekwaamheid van nieuwe sollicitanten zorgt voor een tekort aan kennis binnen de technische branche. Dit is niet in alle technische takken even duidelijk merkbaar. Vooral in de industri\u00eble automatisering zien veel bedrijven (24%) een gebrek aan kennis. Ook in de industri\u00eble elektrotechniek (20%) en in de installatietechniek (18%) is het kennisniveau lang niet bij alle bedrijven optimaal. De vakgebieden gebouwautomatisering (1%) en veiligheid, gezondheid &amp; milieu (2%) lijken hier voorlopig geen last van te hebben.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cKwaliteit ontbreekt\u201d<br \/>\n<\/strong>John Huizing, directeur bij ROVC: \u201cNiet alleen is er een kwantitatief tekort, maar het wordt ook steeds duidelijker dat kwaliteit ontbreekt. Hierin zien we dat er in de praktijk vaak andere vaardigheden worden verwacht, dan die in opleidingen aan bod komen. Het streven moet dus zijn om het onderwijs en de praktijk meer op elkaar aan te laten sluiten. Daarnaast kan het raadzaam zijn om werknemers bij te scholen.
