In opmaat naar de Sunday \u2013 het grootse jaarlijkse zonne-energiecongres in Nederland dat dit jaar op 19 november in Burgers\u2019 Zoo Arnhem plaatsvindt en waarvoor men zich via <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sundaynl.nl\">www.sundaynl.nl<\/a> kan registreren, constateert Veltkamp dat Nederland binnen Europa hoge ogen gooit. Veltkamp, werkzaam bij Solliance-partner Energieonderzoek Centrum Nederland (ECN), stelt vast dat Nederland niet alleen op het gebied van innovatie en technologieontwikkeling goed scoort, maar dat ook de implementatie van pv in een sneltreinvaart toeneemt. \u201cDe burgerparticipatie die Nederland momenteel kent is uniek in Europa.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Volgens Veltkamp kijken de andere Europese deelnemers van het Solarrok-project dan ook likkebaardend naar Nederland. Binnen het EU-project wordt gezocht naar samenwerking en krachtenbundeling van de voornaamste pv-clusters in Europa. Naast Nederland zijn Duitsland, Sloveni\u00eb, Oostenrijk, Frankrijk, Litouwen, Noorwegen en Spanje deelnemers. Gezamenlijk wordt gestreefd naar effici\u00ebnt gebruik van bestaande kennis, onderzoekscapaciteit en infrastructuur om Europa\u2019s leidende rol in de pv-wereld te behouden. \u201cNederland is niet alleen een groeimarkt als het om afzet gaat, maar is ook een broedplaats van nieuwe technologie met cross-overs die in eigen land getest kan worden. Ik denk aan zaken als biobased pv-modules en dunne filmcoatings. Doordat er binnen ons land bovendien goed samengewerkt wordt door de keten heen, komen innovaties in een stroomversnelling.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDe voornaamste doelstelling van Solarrak is om de sterke Europese pv-clusters te laten samenwerken om de internationale markt voor de Europese Unie te verbeden en te ontsluiten\u201d, vervolgt Veltkamp. \u201cAls Nederland hopen wij via het project ook nieuwe contacten op te doen met de emerging pv-markten die buiten Europa liggen\u201d, duidt Veltkamp. \u201cDiverse delegaties uit deze landen brengen via tours namelijk een bezoek aan Solarrok-deelnemers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ook Europese productie van zonnecellen en zonnepanelen zijn volgens Veltkamp onderwerp van gesprek in Europa. \u201cNatuurlijk hopen alle deelnemende landen dat de producerende pv-industrie \u00a0terugkeert naar Europa\u201d, stelt Veltkamp. \u201cMaar tot die tijd is de verkoop van productieapparatuur voor Europa een zeer levensvatbaar exportmodel. Egypte, Marokko, Turkije en Algerije zijn de nieuwe emerging pv-markten en voor hen kan Europa een zeer grote rol spelen.
