Het project, genaamd de \u2018Techniekcoalitie\u2019, koppelt het netwerk, de deskundigheid en middelen van Techniek Nederland, Koninklijke Metaalunie, FME en de scholingsfondsen OOM, A&amp;O en OTIB aan capaciteit, middelen en plannen in Limburg. Dit gebeurt in samenspraak met de Limburgse arbeidsmarktregio\u2019s, onderwijsinstellingen en vakverenigingen. De provincie Limburg brengt de partijen bij elkaar en ondersteunt ze met een bedrag van 1,1 miljoen euro.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cDe personeelsplannen helpen de bedrijven een beter inzicht te krijgen in hun personeelsbehoefte. Het gaat daarbij niet alleen om de kennis en vaardigheden die medewerkers nodig hebben om de veranderingen in hun sector op te vangen, maar ook om scholingsinitiatieven die de duurzame inzetbaarheid van medewerkers versterken\u201d, zegt gedeputeerde Economie van de provincie Limburg, Joost van den Akker.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nieuwe beroepen<br \/>\n<\/strong>Techniek Nederland is blij met het Limburgse initiatief waardoor meer geld vrijkomt voor technisch vakonderwijs. Regiomanager Berthold van Benthem: \u201cOndernemers in de technische sector zitten te springen om technische vakmensen. Dit project draagt bij aan meer instroom in de technische sector. Bovendien brengen we de kennis en behoeften in kaart voor het ontwikkelen van nieuwe modulaire onderwijsmodules. De inhoud van beroepen verandert, maar er ontstaan ook nieuwe beroepen. Intensieve samenwerking tussen onderwijs en bedrijfsleven is nodig om het beroepsonderwijs gelijke tred te laten houden met de razendsnelle ontwikkelingen in de techniek.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Versterking kwaliteit beroepsonderwijs<br \/>\n<\/strong>Het project zet in op een structurele, toekomstbestendige regionale ondersteuningsstructuur. De branches werken intersectoraal, waarbij landelijke en regionale middelen en instrumenten op elkaar afgestemd worden en werkgevers worden ondersteund.\u00a0 Door de inzet van gebundelde opleidingsgelden vanuit de drie branches levert het project ook een bijdrage aan het versterken van de kwaliteit van het mbo en hbo in Limburg. Door in te zetten op structurele samenwerking van het beroepsonderwijs met het technisch mkb op het gebied van leven lang ontwikkelen, verbetert ook het initieel onderwijs voor de reguliere leerlingen en wordt de docent meer vanuit de praktijk geprofessionaliseerd.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Concrete resultaten en effecten<br \/>\n<\/strong>Het totale project loopt vier jaar, waarvan de provincie Limburg de eerste twee jaar ondersteunt. De initiatiefnemers gaan 165 bedrijven helpen bij het maken van verander- en strategische personeelsplannen, ongeveer 1.400 werknemers opleiden en bijscholen en 100 mensen vanuit een uitkeringssituatie laten instromen. Andere doelstellingen zijn het ontwikkelen van vernieuwde en modulair opgezette onderwijsmodules, het opleiden van vijftien hybride techniekdocenten en ondersteuning van 120 praktijkopleiders.
