Het boek neemt innovators stap voor stap mee in de verschillende fasen van het innovatietraject en de technische ontwikkeling. Het richt zich daarbij vooral op bedrijven die nog geen of weinig innovatieactiviteiten in deze branche hebben ondernomen.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHet is een dynamische tijd voor de\u00a0 installatiesector,\u201d aldus De Wit, \u201cwaarin bedrijven te maken hebben met wijzigende verdienmodellen en de snelle omslag naar duurzame energie. Dat vraagt om nieuwe aanpakken, technieken, en diensten door een actief leverende technische installatiesector.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Stappenplan en tips<br \/>\nEen belangrijk advies uit het boek aan innovators is om, wanneer er een innovatief idee is, er al in een vroeg stadium met anderen over te praten om te toetsen of het idee kansrijk is. Verder zijn er de tips om veel aan kennisontwikkeling over het onderwerp te doen.
