Het Alphense bedrijf DK Prototyping for Automotive Glass komt nu met zonnepanelen waaronder een luchtkanaalsysteem is geplaatst. Door dit systeem wordt geforceerd lucht geblazen die de panelen koelt. Hierdoor gaat het rendement van de panelen omhoog, aldus het bedrijf. De warme lucht wordt (afhankelijk van het seizoen) opgeslagen, maar kan ook direct worden gebruikt om het gebouw te verwarmen.<\/p>\n<p>Moderne zonnepanelen hebben een rendement van zo\u2019n 20 procent; 80 procent blijft onbenut. Warmte zorgt ervoor dat er nog meer rendement verloren gaat. Door de zonnepanelen met een frame in te kapselen, ontstaat een soort legpuzzel die water- en luchtdicht aan elkaar kan worden gekoppeld. Het gebouw zal volledig worden bedekt met zonnepanelen. Hierdoor is geen dakbedekking meer nodig. Ook als het systeem stilstaat, hebben de panelen nog een functie. Ze zorgen namelijk voor een extra isolerende schil. Daarnaast gaan de zonnepanelen door koeling langer mee. Degradatie van de cellen is namelijk progressief aan temperatuur gekoppeld.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Actief is binnen de auto-industrie <br \/>\n<\/strong>DK Prototyping for Automotive Glass is een bedrijf dat actief is binnen de auto-industrie. Ze maakt voornamelijk autoruiten voor prototype auto\u2019s ten behoeve van crash- en windtunneltesten en testen in extreme temperaturen, en verzorgt beglazing van conceptauto\u2019s voor motorshows.
