Dat zegt de Dutch Heat Pump Association (DHPA), die middels de Nederlandse Vereniging Duurzame Energie (NVDE) betrokken was bij de onderhandelingen over het klimaatakkoord.<\/p>\n<p>Warmtepompen zijn in het klimaatakkoord erkend als een van de belangrijkste vervangers van de traditionele gasketel: ze hebben een rendement van honderden procenten omdat zij duurzame omgevingswarmte en -koude uit (buiten)lucht, bodem- of grondwater gebruiken als bron voor klimatisering van gebouwen en (industri\u00eble) processen. Met hernieuwbare elektriciteit voor aandrijving van de warmtepomp is een 100 procent klimaatneutrale verwarming en koeling mogelijk.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ideaal concept<br \/>\n<\/strong>\u2018All-electric\u2019 warmtepompen zijn een ideaal concept voor nieuwbouwwoningen en nieuwbouw en renovatie van bedrijfsgebouwen en andere utiliteiten, aldus DHPA. In bestaande bouw kan de hybride warmtepomp, ook wel hybride gasketel genoemd, al op korte termijn een forse besparing op aardgas opleveren door in het overgrote deel van het koude seizoen op omgevingswarmte te draaien en alleen op de allerkoudste dagen van het jaar en voor warm tapwater op aardgas.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Verdere standaardisatie en innovatie<br \/>\n<\/strong>Om te kunnen voorzien in de lovenswaardige maar ambitieuze randvoorwaarde van een financieel neutrale overstap voor gebouweigenaren, acht DHPA verdere standaardisatie en innovatie nodig alsmede opschaling van de capaciteit van de installatiesector. De combinatie van financi\u00eble instrumenten, inclusief de ISDE- en SDE-regelingen, moet zorgen voor een gelijk speelveld voor alle duurzame warmteconcepten. Ook is de aanleg van een \u2018slim elektriciteitsnet\u2019 (smart grid) nodig om de vele warmtepompen in wijken te accommoderen.
