Een opvallende ontwikkeling in dit geheel is de bereidheid van werkgevers om zich ook weer te gaan ori\u00ebnteren op oudere werknemers. Adrie van Duijne, ex-voorzitter van Stichting KIEN is op dit gebied een duidelijke voorloper.<\/p>\n<p>Vorige jaar wees hij er al op in IZ dat oudere werknemers goud waard zijn en je ze zeker in deze tijden langer aan je moet zien te binden. Van Duijne heeft daarom mede aan de basis gestaan van een nieuw platform dat nu in samenspraak met bedrijven onderzoekt hoe oudere werknemers langer duurzaam inzetbaar kunnen worden gehouden. Inmiddels lijken ook personeelsbemiddelaars de oudere installatietechnicus te hebben ontdekt, te oordelen naar de opkomst van bedrijven als Centricity24 dat zich onder andere bezig houdt met zoeken naar mogelijkheden, omscholing en dergelijke voor oudere installatietechnici.
