Des te opvallender dat uit <a href=\"https:\/\/dev.installatienet.nl\/concurrentiepositie-nederland-in-geding-vanwege-tekort-aan-technici\/\">onderzoek van technisch opleider ROVC<\/a> blijkt dat slechts \u00e9\u00e9n op de tien ondervraagden vindt dat acties vanuit brancheorganisaties effici\u00ebnte aanjagers zijn voor het terugdringen van het nijpende tekort. Dat deze acties niet direct met Uneto-VNI worden geassocieerd, vindt Terpstra echter begrijpelijk. \u201cDe activiteiten worden namelijk uitgevoerd door bijvoorbeeld Opleidingsfonds OTIB, de regionale opleidingsbedrijven InstallatieWerk of het beroepsonderwijs zelf.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Terpstra: \u201cHet techniekonderwijs heeft voor Uneto-VNI absolute topprioriteit. Onze leden ondervinden nu al problemen als gevolg van een groeiend tekort aan technische vakmensen. Wij doen er alles aan om de instroom in de techniek te verbeteren. Maar als brancheorganisatie alleen lukt het ons niet om de problemen op te lossen. De sleutel ligt bij samenwerking met andere partijen, zoals het bedrijfsleven, het (beroeps-)onderwijs \u00e9n de overheid. Alleen op die manier kunnen we resultaten boeken. Uit het onderzoek van ROVC blijkt in ieder geval dat de acties die wij s\u00e1men met deze partijen uitvoeren positief worden beoordeeld.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Op fietsafstand een vmbo-techniekopleiding<br \/>\n <\/strong>\u201cHet onderzoek van ROVC onderstreept nog eens de urgentie van een het tekort aan technici\u201d, vervolgt Terpstra. \u201cEr is al veel gebeurd, maar extra acties in met name het vmbo en mbo zijn dringend noodzakelijk. De aansluiting tussen onderwijs en bedrijfsleven is al stukken beter dan voorheen, maar kan nog beter. Techniekonderwijs moet makkelijk toegankelijk zijn; voor alle jongeren die willen kiezen voor een carri\u00e8re in de techniek moet er op fietsafstand een vmbo-techniekopleiding zijn. En er moet letterlijk meer ruimte komen voor zogenaamde \u2018hybride\u2019 docenten. Dit zijn docenten die deels in de praktijk werken en deels voor de klas staan.\u201d &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Een technische mbo-opleiding winnen<br \/>\n <\/strong>ROVC zelf is inmiddels een winactie gestart, waarbij een technische mbo-opleiding ter waarde van \u20ac15.000,- wordt weggeven. Dit doet de opleider samen met YoungCapital. De wedstrijd wordt georganiseerd om aandacht te vestigen op de uitdaging waar de branche op dit moment voor staat. Zowel technici als mensen die de techniek in willen, oftewel zij-instromers, maken kans om een technische mbo-opleiding te winnen. Er is keuze uit een opleiding op mbo-3 of 4-niveau. De winnaar bepaalt zelf het technisch vakgebied waarin hij of zij zich wil ontwikkelen. ROVC biedt kandidaten een kennismaking met het technisch opleidings- en werkveld. Daarnaast ontvangen zij studieadvies van professionele adviseurs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Symbolische stap om tekort te lijf te gaan<br \/>\n <\/strong>John Huizing, directeur bij ROVC: \u201cDe technische sector staat onder druk. Er is een hevig tekort aan technici, zowel kwalitatief als kwantitatief. Technische organisaties zijn voortdurend op zoek naar technisch talent. Het is van belang dat organisaties kijken naar enthousiasme en motivatie onder potenti\u00eble technici. Zij-instromers zijn in deze branche gewilder dan ooit. Met deze wedstrijd wil ROVC technisch Nederland laten zien dat er veel potentie in de markt te vinden is, als je het maar wilt zien. Daarnaast zetten we hiermee een eerste symbolische stap om het tekort aan technici te lijf te gaan.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Stevig in de schoenen staan<br \/>\n <\/strong>\u201cYoungCapital ondersteunt dit initiatief, omdat we zien dat de markt vraagt om goed opgeleide technici\u201d, aldus Bart Dekker, accountmanager YoungCapital. \u201cDaarom leiden wij in samenwerking met ROVC gemotiveerde, energieke trainees vakinhoudelijk op.
