Het is volgens het orgaan een belangrijke eerste stap in het erkennen van het cruciale belang van de luchtkwaliteit in gebouwen voor gezondheid, comfort en productiviteit. Maar de belangenbehartiger betreurt dat de belangrijke rol van ventilatie in dat opzicht niet volledig wordt erkend.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Wij betreuren het dat de medewetgevers uiteindelijk hebben besloten om in dit stadium geen verplichte inspectie van standalone ventilatiesystemen in te stellen. Dit zou hebben gezorgd voor optimale prestaties van deze systemen, verbeterde binnenluchtkwaliteit, gebruikmakend van het enorme energiebesparingspotentieel van de bestaande bouwvoorraad, en bewustwording bij consumenten&#8221;, zegt Joan Miro, EVIA-voorzitter.<\/p>\n<p>Russell Patten, EVIA-secretaris-generaal: &#8220;E\u00e9n op de zes Europeanen leeft in ongezonde gebouwen en elk jaar gaan er 2 miljoen gezonde jaren verloren in de EU als gevolg van slechte binnenluchtkwaliteit.
