Deze propaan-warmtepomp zal specifiek worden afgestemd op de Nederlandse situatie. Vijf andere kennisinstituten en marktpartijen werken mee aan dit project. De resultaten zullen beschikbaar worden gesteld aan de Nederlandse warmtepompindustrie, die het product vervolgens kan doorontwikkelen tot een betaalbaar serieproduct.<\/p>\n<p>Het doel van het project High Performance Little Air Unit Natural Charge Heatpump (HP-Launch) is het ontwikkelen van een warmtepomp met een betere efficiency dan de huidige systemen, aantrekkelijke kostprijs en goede inpassingsmogelijkheid in Nederlandse woningen. De projectpartners hebben de intentie om de sector na HP-Launch verder te ondersteunen om de ontwikkelde kennis naar de markt te brengen. HP-Launch moet ook de concurrentiepositie van de Nederlandse warmtepompfabrikanten versterken.<\/p>\n<p>HP-Launch verbetert het rendement door het technisch ontwerp en de aansturing van de warmtepomp goed aan te laten sluiten bij de behoefte van een Nederlandse woning. De kosten worden laag gehouden door een effici\u00ebnt ontwerp. Een compact ontwerp en een aangepaste vormgeving moeten deze warmtepomp beter geschikt maken voor de gemiddelde Nederlandse woning, waarin maar beperkte ruimte is voor installaties. Er wordt gebruik gemaakt van het natuurlijke koudemiddel propaan. Door een zeer kleine koudemiddelinhoud worden de risico\u2019s van propaan met betrekking tot brandbaarheid ondervangen.
