Dat is het streven van de werkgroep die is ingesteld om een inspectiemethode vast te leggen voor de elektrotechnische-, gas- en waterinstallatie, inclusief rookgasafvoer en ventilatie. Een dergelijke inspectie moet binnen gemiddeld 1,5 uur per woning kunnen worden uitgevoerd. Het gaat vooral om de visuele inspectie van zaken als gasleidingen en -aansluitingen, de aangesloten verbrandingstoestellen, de status van de meterkast, de wandcontactdozen en schakelaars, de aardklemmen, de afvoeren en riolering, en de ventilatiesystemen.<\/p>\n<p>Voorjaar 2017 riep Uneto-VNI de Tweede Kamer op een verplichte \u2018Woning-APK\u2019 in te stellen. De installateurskoepel ontwikkelt hiervoor samen met TVVL (kennispartner in de technologiesector) en andere belanghebbende marktpartijen en organisaties de nieuwe norm NEN 8025. Deze norm richt zich op de periodieke inspectie van de installatietechniek in bestaande woningen. Stelt de overheid hem niet verplicht, dan kan deze norm ook privaatrechtelijk worden aangewezen door de markt. Basis van de nieuwe norm vormt de NTA 8025.<\/p>\n<p>Actualisatie van de NTA is nodig vanwege nieuwe technologische ontwikkelingen, zoals zonnepanelen, laadpalen, warmtepompen en een dichtere gebouwschil. Ook gewijzigde wet- en regelgeving speelt mee, alsmede het feit dat installaties steeds complexer en hierdoor storings- of afstellingsgevoeliger worden. Daarnaast neemt het toezicht verder af, waarvoor de markt invulling moet geven.
