Dat is bijna 60 procent meer dan het jaar ervoor, blijkt uit het Nationaal Solar Trendrapport 2018, dat mede op verzoek van Uneto-VNI tot stand is gekomen. De marktgroei van zonnepanelen is vooral te danken aan de zakelijke markt. Zo plaatsen installatiebedrijven steeds meer zonnepanelen op daken van logistieke centra, winkelcentra en bij agrarische bedrijven. Bij zowel consumenten als bedrijven is de toename onder meer het gevolg van prijsdalingen en groeiende bewustwording. Voor bedrijven is het succes mede te danken aan de SDE+-maatregel.<\/p>\n<p>In 2017 is voor 853 MWpiek aan zonnepanelen ge\u00efnstalleerd tegenover 534 MWpiek in 2016. In totaal liggen in Nederland ruim 12 miljoen zonnepanelen, samen goed voor 3.000 MWpiek (12km2). Dit is 2,2 procent van de totale elektriciteitsproductie in Nederland.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Enorm potentieel<br \/>\n <\/strong>Volgens voorzitter Doekle Terpstra van installateurskoepel Uneto-VNI laten de cijfers zien dat zonnepanelen een belangrijke bijdrage leveren aan de verduurzaming van de gebouwde omgeving. \u201cMaar we zijn er nog lang niet. Er zijn een half miljoen huishoudens met zonnepanelen op het dak. Het potentieel is dus nog enorm.\u201d Volgens de voorman van de installatiebranche levert de snelle marktgroei veel nieuwe werkgelegenheid op. \u201cEr zijn nu al bijna 10.000 voltijds arbeidsplaatsen in de Nederlandse zonne-energiesector, maar ik verwacht dat de werkgelegenheid in snel tempo gaat toenemen.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>5.500 vierkante kilometer<br \/>\n <\/strong>In Nederland is 5.500 km2 geschikt voor zonnepanelen. Dat is 5,5 procent van de totale beschikbare oppervlakte. Op dit moment wordt nog maar 12 km2, voornamelijk dakoppervlak, van Nederland bedekt met zonnepanelen. Als de volledige 5.500 km2 benut wordt voor zonnepanelen, kan Nederland in theorie meer dan driekwart van haar totale finale energieverbruik opwekken met zonne-energie. Dat betekent dat zonne-energie in 2050 onze belangrijkste energiebron kan zijn.<\/p>\n<p>Zonnepanelen gaan 25 jaar mee en worden in 5 tot 7 jaar terugverdiend. Gemiddeld worden in 2017 bij een huishouden 12 zonnepanelen geplaatst. Dit aantal zonnepanelen dekt 80 procent van het gemiddeld stroomverbruik en kost gemiddeld 4.300 euro (inclusief btw en installatie).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Vorig jaar zijn in Nederland drie miljoen zonnepanelen geplaatst.
