Dit heeft woordvoerder Benno Bruggink van de toezichthouder gemeld aan RTL Nieuws. In een brief van de NVWA, die in bezit is van RTL Nieuws, staat dat de toezichthouder het vermoeden heeft dat Nefit informatie over deze brandincidenten achterhoudt, terwijl juist afspraken waren gemaakt om die informatie te delen. De NVWA schrijft de gegevens met voorrang te zullen onderzoeken zodra ze binnen zijn.<\/p>\n<p>Nefit heeft aan het einde van de middag in een verklaring juist gemeld alle informatie over de risico&#8217;s van de TopLine te hebben gedeeld met de NVWA. Het bedrijf houdt vol dat een defecte warmtewisselaar geen veiligheidsrisico vormt en laat een onafhankelijk onderzoek uitvoeren om dat aan te tonen.<\/p>\n<p>Inmiddels hebben nieuwe veiligheidsdeskundigen tegenover RTL Nieuws verklaard dat de TopLine-ketels van Nefit niet veilig zijn en moeten worden vervangen. Emeritus-hoogleraar Veiligheid Ben Ale zegt tegen de zender \u2018dat een cv-ketel met een lekke warmtewisselaar grote hoeveelheden giftig koolmonoxide produceert. De ketel is nooit helemaal luchtdicht en in bepaalde omstandigheden kan die koolmonoxide de woning instromen.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Technisch expert Harry van Zijl beaamt dit. Hij werkte 43 jaar voor een grote cv-fabrikant, meldt RTL Nieuws. &#8220;Een ketel met een warmtewisselaar waar rookgassen lekken die door de brander weer worden aangezogen, gaat koolmonoxide produceren. En koolmonoxide is gevaarlijk.
