Gebouwen hebben niet langer installaties, maar zijn installaties op zich. In bouwteams is samenwerking de sleutel naar succes en is het niet de vraag wie de baas is. Dit is niet nieuw, maar steeds meer de realiteit van elke dag! De opdrachtgever vraagt erom. Deze wil faalkosten verminderen en vooral geen gedoe tussen de verschillende partners hebben. Maar er zijn meer redenen om meer met elkaar op te trekken: we hebben dezelfde uitdagingen en bovendien vraagt de toenemende digitalisering om ketensamenwerking.<br \/>\nDe tijd dat de installateur halverwege het bouwproces werd ingevlogen om \u2018wat\u2019 techniek in te brengen, is voorbij. De scheiding tussen hoofd- en onderaannemer heeft zijn langste tijd gehad. BIM doet steeds meer zijn intrede in de branche. En dat gaat verder dan het gebruik van ICT-programma\u2019s. Juist hier gaat het om samenwerken, afstemmen, elkaar zien en versterken. Van de programmeertafel tot de werkvloer. Met meer efficiency en minder faalkosten voor de klant.<br \/>\nNatuurlijk blijf je sectorspecifieke belangen houden. Maar die benoemen is de grootste winst die je met elkaar kunt halen. Zoals een ondernemer het mij onlangs zei: \u201cSamenwerken maakt juist helder hoe je ten opzichte van elkaar staat en wanneer je soms eenvoudigweg kunt gaan voor het belang van je eigen bedrijf. Openheid is hierbij cruciaal.\u201d<br \/>\nBouw en installatiebranche zijn \u2018partners in crime\u2019 die in een sterk bewegende markt samen kansen kunnen verzilveren. Maar dit gaat niet vanzelf. Nieuwe technologie\u00ebn, nieuwe klantvragen en nauwere samenwerking vragen om andere kennis en vaardigheden. En om de ander ook echt te zien. Samenwerken gaat hierbij verder dan alleen de werkvloer. De infrastructuur moet op orde zijn zonder strijd tussen programma\u2019s en systemen. Uneto-VNI en Bouwend Nederland gaan hiermee aan de slag. Scholen denken na over hun leerprogramma\u2019s. Het is aan OTIB om de kennis en ervaring te bieden en de samenwerking te stimuleren.
