Tijdens het inspiratie-event in Amsterdam committeren landelijke woningcorporaties zich aan deze doelstelling en ondertekent Rob Haans, directievoorzitter De Alliantie en bestuurslid van Aedes, een &#8216;zonne-belofte&#8217; namens de Alliantie. Ook Stichting Urgenda onderschrijft het streven van de Huurdakrevolutie.<\/p>\n<p>Vergroening van gebouwen is doorslaggevend voor de oplossing van het klimaatprobleem. De gebouwde omgeving veroorzaakt een derde van de CO2-uitstoot. Verduurzaming van de woningvoorraad is daarom een hoge prioriteit, zo melden de initiatiefnemers. Op dit moment ligt de huursector nog ver achter. Zo is slechts 2% van de huurdaken voorzien van zonnepanelen.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Woonvoorraad verduurzamen<br \/>\n <\/strong>Hoe kan de versnelling van zonnestroom worden ingezet? Hoe snel moeten we zijn, en wat hebben we nodig om 10% van de daken van zonnestroom te voorzien, ofwel 1,5 miljoen extra zonnepanelen in 2020? Directeuren en MT leden van woningbouwcorporaties committeren zich als eerste aan de doelstelling van de Huurdakrevolutie. Tevens delen verschillende woningcorporaties hun vernieuwingsdrift om, door vol in te zetten op zonnestroom, versneld de woonvoorraad te verduurzamen.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Woonlasten besparen<br \/>\n <\/strong>De Huurdakrevolutie, een initiatief van gebouwverduurzamer Innax en zonnepanelenleverancier Sungevity, is bedoeld voor de gehele industrie. Beide partijen nodigen woningcorporaties en andere spelers in de markt uit om krachten te bundelen rond kennis, inkoopkracht en goedkope financiering om de doorbraak van zonnestroom op huurwoningen te forceren. Het streven is om met z\u2019n allen 10% van alle huurdaken met zonnepanelen te voorzien in 2020.
