Een rook- en warmteafvoerinstallatie wordt toegepast om in geval van een brand de vrijgekomen rook en hitte uit het gebouw te onttrekken en\/of weg te ventileren. Hierdoor hebben aanwezige personen meer tijd het gebouw te ontvluchten en biedt het de brandweer zicht op de brandhaard. Ook wordt hierdoor het flashover moment uitgesteld of zelfs afgesteld, is een effectieve inzet mogelijk en wordt de schade beperkt.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>De afgelopen maanden heeft de productwerkgroep al bijgedragen aan de trainingen \u2018Essenti\u00eble Bouwkundige Controlepunten\u2019 die onder meer aan veiligheidsregio\u2019s, bouw en woningtoezicht, adviserende en installerende partijen en gebouweigenaren worden gegeven. Stan Veldpaus is penvoerder van de BBN-productwerkgroep RWA. \u201cDe productwerkgroep RWA wil graag haar kennis, die de afgelopen tientallen jaren is opgebouwd, delen met een ieder die betrokken is bij het brandveilig maken en het brandveilig gebruiken van gebouwen\u201d, zegt Veldpaus. \u201cEr wordt nog intensiever samengewerkt met de andere BBN-productwerkgroepen zodat zoveel mogelijk in gezamenlijke afstemming wordt bijgedragen aan brandveilige gebouwen.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>De productwerkgroep RWA zal een van de 6 workshops verzorgen tijdens de BBN studiedag op 23 november 2017 in Nieuwegein.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Brandveilig Bouwen Nederland (BBN) is uitgebreid met een nieuwe productwerkgroep Rook- en WarmteAfvoer (RWA).
