Dit blijkt uit de Monitor Bouwketen van het EIB. Zowel ingenieurs, architecten, installateurs als bouwbedrijven denken er zo over. Desondanks laat het onderzoek zien dat innovatie in toenemende mate een belangrijke aanjager is binnen de bouwkolom.<\/p>\n

De bouwkolom wil de knelpunten graag zo snel mogelijk s\u00e1men met de overheid aanpakken via de Bouwagenda, het nationale innovatieprogramma voor de bouw. Het EIB constateert dat starre toepassing van wet- en regelgeving en een weinig uitdagend en consistent overheidsbeleid de toepassing van innovatieve oplossingen belemmert. Hierdoor dreigt het aanpakken van urgente maatschappelijke vraagstukken, zoals het terugdringen van de CO2-uitstoot en modernisering van de infrastructuur vertraging op te lopen.<\/p>\n

Samenwerking kan beter
\n <\/strong>De bedrijven in de bouwkolom kijken niet alleen naar de overheid, maar ook naar hun eigen rol. Ketensamenwerking is volgens architecten, ingenieurs, aannemers en installateurs een belangrijke succesfactor voor de implementatie van innovaties. Deze samenwerking kan beter, vinden de respondenten. Vooral ingenieurs- en architectenbureaus geven aan vaak samen te werken met de verschillende ketenpartners op het gebied van innovaties.<\/p>\n

Aanjager in de bouwkolom
\n <\/strong>Ondanks de knelpunten laat het onderzoek van het EIB ook zien dat innovatie in toenemende mate een belangrijke aanjager is binnen de bouwkolom. Zo blijkt dat 100% van de ingenieursbureaus, 60% van de installatiebedrijven, 40% van de architectenbureaus en 30% van de bouwbedrijven innoveert. Om het rendement op hun investeringen te optimaliseren, zegt meer dan 90% van de respondenten dat de ontwikkelde innovaties toepasbaar zijn op meerdere projecten. Ingenieurs- en architectenbureaus passen innovatie vooral toe op hun producten, bouwbedrijven richten zich op het proces. Installatiebedrijven verdelen de aandacht voor innovatie evenwichtig over hun product, proces en organisatie.<\/p>\n
