VAN OORZAAK TOT OPLOSSING<\/h3>\n

Waterslag in drinkwaterinstallaties is een veelvoorkomend probleem. Ron Bosch, HBO-docent Installatietechniek en installatieadviseur legt uit wat de problematiek behelst en reikt oplossingen aan voor de installateur. <\/b><\/p>\n

Onderverdeling<\/strong>
\nEr zijn verschillende soorten geluid. Als we het hebben over luchtgeluid in een ruimte, bedoelen we geluidsgolven die worden opgewekt door een \u00e9\u00e9n of andere geluidbron en de omringende lucht in trilling brengen. We kunnen dan bijvoorbeeld denken aan praten of muziek.<\/p>\n

Contactgeluid<\/strong>
\nIn het geval van contactgeluid gaat het om geluid voortkomend uit trillingen ten gevolge van mechanische aanstoting en\/of contact met de bouwkundige constructie door een voorwerp dat in de oorspronkelijke toestand geen contact maakt met de constructie. Bijvoorbeeld een waterstraal die valt op de bodem van de douchebak.<\/p>\n

Constructiegeluid<\/strong>
\nBij constructiegeluid is het geluid afkomstig van een trillende bron die permanent contact maakt met de bouwkundige constructie. Bijvoorbeeld de beweging van mechanische onderdelen of vloeistoffen in een installatie.<\/p>\n

Gebruiksdruk<\/strong>
\nAls we willen begrijpen wat waterslag inhoudt, moeten we ook inzoomen op het begrip gebruiksdruk. Hierbij gaat het om de druk direct voor een aansluitpunt van het tappunt dat geopend is, dat wil zeggen de statische druk minus het drukverlies dat het water in de leiding ondervindt ten gevolge van verticale verplaatsing en wrijving bij de doorstroming door geopende tappunten.<\/p>\n

Waterslag<\/strong>
\nWaterslag ontstaat door de stroming van water in drinkwaterleidinginstallaties, waarbij door een handeling van een mens of een apparaat, de waterstroming abrupt wordt gestopt. Het gevolg is dat de kinetische energie in de waterleiding toeneemt. De druk neemt toe, wat met name zijn weerslag heeft op de zwakke onderdelen van een drinkwaterinstallatie. Dit komt op verschillende manieren tot uiting. Bijvoorbeeld in de vorm van een tikkend of bonkend geluid, ergens in de installatie. Het geluid hoeft dus niet altijd hoorbaar te zijn bij het toestel dat of de kraan die in gebruik is, het kan ook elders zijn.<\/p>\n

Oplossingen<\/strong>
\nGeluidshinder in installaties is te voorkomen. Dat kan je onder andere bewerkstelligen door:
\n-\u2002het aanbrengen van langzaam sluitende kranen;
\n-\u2002Indien mogelijk bestaande snel sluitende kranen anders af te stellen;
\n-\u2002het aanhouden van lage snelheden in DWI, om waterslag en stromingsgeluid te voorkomen in het leidingontwerp;
\n-\u2002de toepassing van geluidsarme kranen (groep I, 20 dB(A));
\n-\u2002het aanbrengen van een mantelbuis om de leidingen;
\n-\u2002de leidingen op zware wandconstructies te monteren;
\n-\u2002waterslagdempers aan te brengen die aan de BRL-K632 voldoen en geschikt zijn voor DWI;
\n-\u2002compensatoren te gebruiken die voldoen aan de heersende richtlijnen;
\n-\u2002akoestische ontkoppeling tussen de leidingwaterinstallatie en de sanitaire toestellen en de bouwkundige constructie. Zie Werkblad 1-4E Geluidwering sanitaire voorzieningen;
\n-\u2002goed te beugelen.<\/p>\n
