Restwarmte van de afvalenergiecentrale van SUEZ wordt benut om de wijk Stadsoevers te voorzien van duurzame warmte. Hiermee zet Roosendaal een volgende stap in het realiseren van haar duurzaamheidsambities.<\/p>\n<p>Met het oog op de toekomst nam <a href=\"http:\/\/energieder.nl\/waarom-der\/\">DER<\/a> (opgericht door de gemeente Roosendaal) in 2012 het initiatief om het Smart Climate Grid aan te leggen voor het verwarmen van het Kellebeek college in de wijk Stadsoevers. Hiervoor wordt gebruik gemaakt van pure restwarmte van 42\u00b0C uit de nabij gelegen <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sita.nl\/\">SUEZ<\/a> afvalenergiecentrale die anders verloren zou gaan. Nu al bespaart dit meer dan 50% op de energierekening van het Kellebeek college. Met de aansluiting van <a href=\"http:\/\/www.denieuwewipwei.nl\/stadsoevers\/\">De Nieuwe Wipwei<\/a> op dit warmtenet is een volgende mijlpaal bereikt, namelijk het verwarmen van individuele woningen door middel van het enige lage-temperatuurwarmtenet van Nederland. Door gebruik te maken van lage-temperatuur (LT) restwarmte is het warmteverlies kleiner en het thermische rendement hoger.<\/p>\n<p>Om de omwonenden zo min mogelijk overlast te bezorgen, gingen de partners de uitdaging aan om het volledige warmtenetwerk binnen 3 weken te realiseren en tegelijkertijd een toekomstbestendige oplossing te verzekeren. Hiertoe werd een samenwerking aangegaan met <a href=\"https:\/\/thermaflex.com\/nl\/markten\/duurzame-stadsverwarming\">Thermaflex<\/a> (kennispartner en specialist in de ontwikkeling en fabricage van prefab warmtenetwerken) en <a href=\"http:\/\/www.baminfra.nl\/energie-water\">BAM Infra <\/a>(expert in de aanleg van infrastructuur en warmtenetten).
