Er wordt demontabel gebouwd en het bouwproces moet zo duurzaam mogelijk verlopen. Verder zal het gebouw zoveel mogelijk natuurlijke ventilatie gebruiken en worden alleen d\u00ede ruimtes gekoeld of verwarmd die dat echt nodig hebben. Het wordt een energiezuinig gebouw met een slimme, compacte klimaatinstallatie die inspeelt op veranderende omstandigheden en de stromen van passagiers. In het ontwerp wordt gestreefd naar een LEED Gold certificering, wat Lelystad Airport tot de eerste Gold luchthaven van Europa zal maken.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Virtueel model in BIM<br \/>\n<\/strong>De TBI-ondernemingen J.P. van Eesteren en Croonwolter&amp;dros bouwen de terminal naar het ontwerp van Paul de Ruiter Architects. Het nieuwe gebouw zal eerst als uiterst gedetailleerd virtueel model in BIM verrijzen. De softwaretools moeten helpen om inzicht en overzicht te houden. De bedrijven zijn binnen het UAV GC-contract namelijk gezamenlijk verantwoordelijk voor zowel het ontwerp, de bouw en de installaties als 15 jaar aan onderhoud.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Het ontwerp is steeds in beweging<br \/>\n<\/strong>Jeroen Koomen, BIM regisseur bij aannemer J.P. van Eesteren: \u201cHet architectonisch ontwerp, het constructief model van Aveco de Bondt, het installatietechnisch ontwerp van Deerns en de infrastructuur door Dura Vermeer: alles wordt bijna tegelijkertijd in BIM uitgewerkt. Wekelijks vindt er een complete uitwisseling plaats. Maar we zijn eigenlijk continu samen de meest ideale oplossing aan het bedenken voor uitdagingen die we tegenkomen. Elke wijziging heeft een effect op het werk van de ander. Het ontwerp is steeds in beweging; en dan moet iedereen meebewegen.
