LEGIONELLAWETGEVING IN 2021 N\u00d3G HOGER OP AGENDA<\/h3>\n

\u201cQua kennisontwikkeling op het gebied van Legionella, en sanitaire installaties in bredere zin, staat er voor 2021 weer van alles op stapel\u201d, vertelt Onno Leever, van Leever installatie adviseurs. \u201cZo verschijnt er een nieuwe versie van ISSO-kleintje Legionellapreventie en wordt de ISSO-publicatie 55.1 \u2018Handleiding legionellapreventie in leidingwater\u2019 aangepast. Ook komt er een aanpassing op publicatie 55.2 \u2018Zorgplicht legionellapreventie\u2019. Daarnaast is een commissie bezig om de regelgeving voor legionellapreventie te evalueren, wat aangepaste legionellawetgeving zal opleveren.\u201d Leever zit in deze begeleidingscommissie.<\/p>\n

Kennisontwikkeling<\/strong>
\nIn januari heeft hij het stokje overgenomen van Irene van Veelen, voormalig specialist Sanitair en Legionellapreventie bij ISSO. \u201cIk kende Irene onder andere al van de commissie NEN 1006 en ook vanuit de Waterwerkbladen hadden we al samengewerkt. Daarnaast hadden Irene en ik al eens samengewerkt bij een innovatiebijeenkomst over warmwatercirculatiesystemen\u201d, vertelt Leever. \u201cToen ISSO een vervanger zocht voor de functie van Irene, heeft zij mijn naam laten vallen. Zo ging het balletje rollen. Ik was gelijk enthousiast. Binnen mijn eigen bedrijf doen we veel aan kennisdeling en aan zelf kennis opdoen. Als er een nieuw normblad of een nieuwe NTR uit is, sluit ik me bij wijze van spreken drie dagen op om hem te lezen. Daarna deel ik binnen mijn team wat de belangrijkste wijzigingen zijn. ISSO is ook zeer gericht op kennisontwikkeling. Het past daarom ontzettend goed; de missie van ISSO en die van mijzelf zijn gelijk.\u201d<\/p>\n

Waterschade-onderzoek<\/strong>
\nLeever startte zijn bedrijf in 1991 als zelfstandige. Destijds maakte hij vooral technische berekeningen en tekeningen voor installateurs. Het specialisme Legionella kwam er in 1999 bij. Inmiddels is zijn adviesbureau uitgegroeid tot een flinke organisatie die tekeningen en installatieberekeningen maakt voor wonen, werken en recre\u00ebren. \u201cOveral waar het ingewikkeld wordt, komen wij kijken\u201d, zegt Leever. \u201cZo bemiddelen we ook bij geschillen en we doen bijvoorbeeld waterschade-onderzoek.\u201d
\nVerbrandingsgevaar door warm tapwater<\/strong>
\nEen thema waarvoor Leever een lans breekt en dat hij ook als discussiepunt heeft ingebracht in de NEN 1006 (waterwerkbladen) commissie, is dat van verbrandingsgevaar door te warm tapwater. Leever: \u201cHet gaat bijvoorbeeld fout als in het warmwatergedeelte van de installatie wel een pomp zit maar in het koudwatergedeelte niet. Toch kun je dergelijke temperatuurschommelingen van tapwater, en dus verbrandingsgevaar tijdens het douchen, voorkomen. In ISSO-publicatie 55 \u2018Leidingwaterinstallaties voor woon- en utiliteitsgebouwen\u2019 staan daarover bijvoorbeeld adviezen. De technieken om dergelijke verbranding te voorkomen zijn er zeker, maar preventie is niet in de wet opgenomen. Deze huidige richtlijnen over de temperatuur voor warm tapwater in drinkwaterleidingen zijn vooral bedoeld om de groei van de legionellabacterie in leidingwaterinstallaties te voorkomen. Dat is inderdaad van groot belang, maar de focus moet eigenlijk op allebei liggen: \u00e9n legionellapreventie, \u00e9n het voorkomen van verbranding door warmtapwater. Er zijn zeker situaties waarin het verantwoord is om de taptemperatuur legionellaveilig te verlagen.\u201d<\/p>\n

Waterbesparing<\/strong>
\nEen tweede onderwerp dat de nieuwe specialist Sanitair en Legionellapreventie bij ISSO inbracht bij de NEN 1006 commissie, is waterbesparing. Zijn ideaalbeeld is om de balans te vinden waar installaties nog optimaal werken, met een maximum aan waterbesparende mogelijkheden. \u201cIk zou daarvoor graag ontwikkelingen terugzien in zowel producten, als wet- en regelgeving. Ook van thema\u2019s als het scheiden van waterstromen van verschillende kwaliteit, dus huishoudwater en drinkwater, verwacht ik dat we de komende jaren meer gaan horen.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nieuwe wetgeving<\/strong>
\nVoor zijn nieuwe functie bij ISSO, die hij parttime invult naast zijn werk als adviseur Installatietechniek en legionellapreventie bij Leever installatie adviseurs, hoopt de specialist flinke stappen te zetten in gezondheid, veiligheid en comfort voor sanitaire installaties. Leever: \u201cIk zou het fantastisch vinden als we voor elkaar kunnen krijgen dat bepaalde delen uit ISSO-publicaties als wetgeving worden opgenomen. Bijvoorbeeld als het gaat om preventie van verbranding door te warm tapwater. En daarnaast vind ik het erg interessant om nu namens ISSO in de commissie te zitten voor de nieuwe legionellawetgeving.\u201d \uf06e<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Irene van Veelen zwaait af als sanitairspecialist <\/h3>\n
\n\t

\u201cNadat ik mij bij ISSO ruim vijf jaar met veel energie en toewijding heb ingezet als team- en projectco\u00f6rdinator en sanitairspecialist, heb ik in 2020 besloten het roer enigszins om te gooien. Ik blijf senior adviseur bij ISSO, maar in plaats van mij vooral bezig te houden met kennisontwikkeling, ga ik mij meer richten op het personeel en de organisatie. Dus geen focus meer op technische inhoud, maar op de mensen die het maken. ISSO is voortdurend in verandering. Dan ligt het toch voor de hand om ook het ISSO-team zelf daarbij te ondersteunen? Ik zal zeker elementen van mijn rol als sanitairspecialist missen, zoals de fijne contacten die ik heb opgebouwd, maar we hebben in Onno Leever een heel bekwaam opvolger gevonden. Intern wordt hij versterkt door mijn collega Toshihiro Takada, een heel gedreven junior specialist sanitaire techniek.
