Dit blijkt uit het rapport \u2018Economische vooruitzichten installatiebranche 2017 en verder\u2019 van Uneto-VNI, uitgevoerd door USP Marketing Consultancy. De snelle marktontwikkeling is behalve aan het algemene economisch herstel te danken aan een steeds groter aandeel van de installatietechniek in woningbouw, utiliteitsbouw, infratechniek en industrie. Ook trends als energiebesparing en verduurzaming, langer zelfstandig wonen, transformatie van kantoorgebouwen en de ontwikkeling naar smart buildings leveren de installatiebranche veel extra werk op.<\/p>\n<p>De installatiebranche is de komende jaren een van de snelst groeiende sectoren in ons land. In 2016 komt het installatievolume uit op ruim 16,5 miljard euro, in 2017 groeit de markt verder naar circa 17,5 miljard euro en in 2021 zal de branche ruim 20 miljard euro omzetten. De grootste volumestijgingen komen voor rekening van installatiebedrijven die actief zijn in de woningbouw. Dat marktsegment groeit in 2016 met vijf procent en in 2017 met zeven procent. Installateurs die zich richten op de utiliteitsbouw en infratechniek kunnen komend jaar rekenen op een marktgroei van vier procent, terwijl ook technisch dienstverleners in de (proces-)industrie een hoger productievolume verwachten. Het snelle herstel van de woningmarkt en het consumentenvertrouwen leiden tot een toename van de investeringen in badkamerrenovaties, domotica en energiezuinige woningen met zonnepanelen en warmtepompen. De komende jaren neemt de nieuwbouw vooral toe in de vrije sector, waar meer en duurdere installatietechniek wordt toegepast dan in de corporatiesector.<\/p>\n<p>De laat-cyclische installatiebranche profiteert sinds dit jaar sterk van het economisch herstel. Naar verwachting leidt dit vanaf volgend jaar tot een werkgelegenheidsgroei van 3 procent op jaarbasis. In 2020 is de installatiebranche weer terug op het werkgelegenheidsniveau van voor de crisis met 135.000 arbeidsplaatsen. Aandacht voor voldoende instroom van technische vakmensen blijft hard nodig om de groeikansen te kunnen realiseren.<\/p>\n<p>Het aandeel installatietechniek in de totale bouwsom -de installatiequote- blijft toenemen. Bij woningen is de installatiequote in 2016 met 48,2 procent het hoogst bij groot onderhoud en renovatie (2015: 40 procent), in de woningnieuwbouw stijgt de installatiequote tot 33,5 procent in 2016 (2015: 29,2 procent). Ook in de utiliteitsbouw wordt het aandeel installatietechniek steeds groter: in de nieuwbouw stijgt de installatiequote van 33,4 naar 40,4 procent, in groot onderhoud en renovatie van 34,9 naar 37,1 procent.<\/p>\n<p>Alle installatiedisciplines met ICT als verbindende schakel profiteren van de groei, waarbij de elektrotechniek de grootste stijging noteert. Dat is onder meer te danken aan de toepassing van domotica en gebouwautomatisering, de opkomst van systemen en apparaten die onderling gekoppeld zijn via internet (internet of things), elektronische beveiliging en de snelle groei van de markt voor energiebesparing en duurzame energieopwekking.<\/p>\n<p>In de utiliteitsmarkt profiteren installateurs de komende jaren vooral van de transformatie van bestaande kantoren en de toenemende vraag naar energieneutrale gebouwen. Ook de trend naar smart buildings stuwt het productievolume de komende jaren. De installaties in zulke gebouwen verzamelen big data, zijn met elkaar verbonden en maken voorspellend onderhoud mogelijk.
